ABOUT NATALEE MEROLA

Natalee Merola was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. She started performing on stage at the age of 3 and has been pursuing her love of the arts ever since, studying acting, voice, and dance.

Starting in middle school, Natalee began performing professionally in the Kansas City area, working with companies such as The Coterie, The Living Room, and Music Theater Heritage.

During high school, Natalee was a leader in the performing arts department, being president of both choir and thespians, winning multiple musical and theatrical awards, and being a member of her school's most exclusive choirs (which performed at Carnegie Hall).

Natalee graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with High Distinction and Phi Beta Kappa honors. She majored in Musical Theatre and minored in Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies. In Fall 2022, she began Wichita State's MA in Arts Leadership and Management program. She graduated with this degree (and an A average) in December 2024.

Natalee is currently back home in Kansas City. She is constantly searching for and creating opportunities to do what she loves, and she doesn't ever see herself stopping.

“Natalee Merola is brilliant as Little Sally, one foot firmly in parody and the other in the world of the play. Her childish drawl feels more earnest than affected, and her scenes with Richard are some of the funniest in the show.”

The Pitch

"She had great energy in the room and her constant efforts and attention to detail were evident and are clear indicators of her strong work ethic. She did a wonderful job at the showcase on Friday too - she has a beautiful voice and her acting was terrific!"
